Je n’ai pas besoin de t’enseigner la raison qui m’avait incité à produire du clair-obscure : je voulais revisiter une scène de Caravage où le Christ se voit lier les mains derrière le dos par un homme qui se tient à côté d’un autre brandissant une sorte de verge pour le fouetter. La scène est éclairée par la gauche d’une lumière à la fois douce et sèche qui souligne le torse nu du christ, et choisit de mettre en exergue ce que le spectateur devra retenir de la personnalité de ses bourreaux qu’elle baigne de sa vérité. Le tableau je l’ai vu au fabuleux Musée des beaux-arts de cette ville française qui jugea Jeanne d’arc …
Et bien, après avoir acheté le châssis entoilé de la bonne dimension ( 80 cm x 100 cm) ces événements qui ont dû ébranler la voûte céleste, m’ont incité à céder à la rage, au désespoir, à rouler sur cette pente si particulière du malheur qui connait si bien l’ornière que j’avais pris habitude de lui balafrer sur le dos.
l’urgence m’avait conduit à vouloir représenter » la pornographie religieuse » et cette fois le Christ, que j’aurais décollé du tableau de Dali, je l’aurais suspendu dans le même vide transcendantale, d’une vue plongeante où ne se distinguerait que le sommet de sa tête, le prolongement de son corps supplicié, les bras en croix sur crucifix trônant majestueusement dans l’espace…
Cette fois seulement, je n’aurais pas adopté une verticalité dalinienne vertigineuse , mais dessiné la croix qui se cache dans mes tableaux en simulant une scène sexuelle cosmique dans l’espace où, la fièvre aux tempes, on croirait voir un crucifié sur lequel, à cheval et les mains comme posées sur son ventre, une jeune fille souriant et tirant la langue, aussi nue qu’une feuille de vigne aurait surmonté une Tour Eiffel rétive, un tchador relevé sur la tête plissant dans l’espace comme le drapeau américain du premier alunissage humain …
Ma paranoïa et ma folie renaissante auront eu raison de ma vulgarité. Ne pouvant plus retrouver le modèle de la jeune fille nue comme l’exemple dalinnien, ne pouvant pas ne pas peindre non plus, sur ce modèle mentale, je décidais de faire un dessin automatique.
Il apparut au pied de la Tour Eiffel un lionceau et le crucifié se retrouva sur une embarcation, ressemblant à celle des egyptien faite en tige de papyrus….

finalement Maman, comme tu le voit, le tableau, ici à la verticale, et alors que les partie blanche sont à peindre, laisse deviner la silhouette d’une femme tenant dans ses bras un enfant.
La composition primitivement dalinienne m’a mis lors de sa mise en lumière sur un rêve cubiste à la Picasso et le rendu final, de loin sera comparable à une sorte de Madone à l’enfant version Picasso-Klimt.
par delà l’espace je t’envoie les ondes de mon cœur Maman.
